Registered in England, Olivearte Cultural Agency offers a wide range of supports to the European arts and culture sector (from regional governments to independent arts organisations) in areas such as policy making, fundraising, capacity building, planning and organisational development. Olivearte Cultural Agency undertakes work internationally for both independent and governmental organisations working in the field of arts and culture.

Drawing on over 60 years combined experience and expertise of its two directors, Paul Bogen and Sandy Fitzgerald, Olivearte bridges the gap between ambition and implementation, supporting organisations to realise their vision by building capacity and helping to enhance project performance and sustainability. This support includes: strategic planning, financial strategies, training, organisational development, research, feasibility studies, fundraising, project management and evaluations.

Since its founding in 2008, Olivearte has delivered over forty contracts for public and independent clients in almost every country in Europe, including networks such as Trans Europe Halles, cities such as Kosice, Slovakia, and to a range of arts organisations like Dance Agency TsEKh, Moscow, and Village Underground, London. Olivearte is also active in contributing to cultural debate and development through published work, lectures at educational institutions and speaking at conferences.

Role in project:
Olivearte Cultural Agency was part of the small team that developed the Creative Lenses project and wrote the application resulting in successfully securing a grant of almost €2 million from the Creative Europe programme. Now part of the project leadership and implementation team, Olivearte will assist with both the overall management of the project and specific elements of its programme realisation, such as the Catalyst strand, which looks to test the new business and value models devised by Creative Lenses in real situations around Europe.
